2 Days Out From Team Universe: My thoughts and feelings

I am on my final flight heading to Jersey for Team Universe. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by and that I will be stepping on the National Stage again in just a couple days. I couldn’t feel more ready or excited! I feel that I have definitely made the improvements I needed to make and that I will be bringing a tight, complete package to stage!  I have done the work, it is time to have some fun now. It has definitely been one of my more difficult preps thus far, but I feel that great achievements are worth fighting for and I definitely fought to get here. I had some rough patches and always pushed through them. When I started my prep I wrote about balance and maintaining your life through preps, I followed through with this although it was hard at times, I made the best of every situation. I did, however go back and read a few of my own blogs just to refresh my memory as to why I do what I do. I know now why, but during the process I have my days where I literally felt paralyzed, yet somehow I did my 80-90min of cardio and ate my ¼ cup of oats that always left me hungrier. It is the hardest moments that make us appreciate the great ones! So Here I am now, 2 days out from my next attempt at IFBB Status, I feel great and confident and can’t wait to show the judges what I’ve got!

Thanks,

Jessica Jordan
