BLOG: 9 Quick Fitness Tips From The Pros
1. First off, it is important to know that nutrition is 90+% of you reaching your fitness goals, without cleaning up your diet you will not ever reach your potential, it is important to know that there is NO secret. A combination of MOSTLY diet, then weight training, cardio and supplementation will get you in the best shape of your life.
2. Women should average 1150-1500 cals a day; it always works to vary your calories with high calorie days (1500) and low-calorie days (1150-1300)
*For example: 1500 cals for MWF and 1200 for TTH and 1300 on Sat and Sun
3. Men should average 1600-2000 if you are trying to lose weight. If you are trying to gain weight (muscle) then there is a more in depth process. Also vary calories from day to day; this will keep your body guessing. The variations help keep your body from becoming too familiar with one thing and adapting to it. When your body adapts it becomes too efficient and burns at a slower rate.
